Mallory’s Story

Mal walked into FLO less than a year ago but it feels like she’s been part of the FLO fam for much longer than that. She comes to class with a smile and a positive attitude - no matter what’s going on in her life. In January she noticed a numbing sensation on the right side of her body and scheduled a doctor’s appointment to see what was going on. After multiple days in the hospital and a series of tests, she was told she has a Glioma tumor on the left side of her brain. The diagnosis came as a shock and has completely flipped her young life upside down. At this time, the future is uncertain. For the next six weeks, Mallory will undergo weekly radiation and daily chemotherapy treatments. Obviously this will prevent her from working which puts additional financial strain on her at an already stressful time.

That’s where we come in. We are hosting four classes on Sunday February 22 to raise funds for Mallory and her treatment. Our instructors are donating their time to ensure that 100% of ticket sales go directly to Mallory. We hope to see you there!
